VISUAL ESSAY
BEAUTY OF A FLOWER
For this project, I was tasked to create a 9 up and a story board based on a extracted recording from “Interview, The Pleasure of Finding Things Out.” by Richard Feynman.
CONCEPT
In the narration, Feynman makes the implication that “Knowledge is Key to Beauty“. By using a locked book as a motif, and the comparison between two characters, the design explores how knowledge unlocks another world: the inner beauty beyond the superficial. I chose a friendly doodle style, since the topic “science“ can sometimes feel difficult, as well as to express the witty tone of the recording!
